Rod was very lovely and accomodating - Melissa was also very knowledgeable and kind. This entire experience was super personalised and I didn’t feel like ‘just another customer’. Rod also checked in the day after I picked up my car to see how I was travelling which was nice. Always went through zupps but they’ve dropped off with their customer service so I’m happy to be with Beecham now :) _________ Unfortunately I need to update my review as the service I’ve received after buying my car (about 5 months later) isn’t as good as it was when I was an interested buyer. Twice I have booked my car for a service with Suzuki and the customer service has not been great. First time, which was the complementary service you get when you buy a car with them - the 1000km service., I booked a hire car so I could get to work in the city but when I dropped my car off, they had no cars available and I wasn’t written down for a hire car. They also didn’t have me down for a service when I walked in that morning to drop my car off. Before I even took my car in, I spoke to a man on the phone about my service and he was really frustrated about a constant breakdown of communication between the service department and another department, he said I should have been contacted by Suzuki about this service and I shouldn’t be the one calling to book it in - so it seems like this happens often? I was also told that on my first service I’d get a full tank of fuel, which was promised to me if I purchased my swift with Beecham Suzuki, as I was looking elsewhere. I didn’t get that full tank upon purchase, so Suzuki said I’d get it at my first service and I didn’t get it then either. I don’t like mentioning things 3 times so I let it go. I now booked my second service on Monday and received an email saying “Our team will respond to you shortly”. It’s now Friday and no one has touched base. When I called to confirm my service this morning for next week, the lady that picked up the phone cut me off while I was mid sentence trying to explain that I had booked my car in online. It’s like she heard the word ‘service’ and transferred me before I could even finish. I don’t like to complain when I engage a service because I know people work hard and bad reviews really suck. But given this is the second service, it feels like I’m going to have this same experience every time I book my car with Suzuki. I came over to you guys from Zupps who have really fallen off, but the care factor feels the exact same - like it’s not really there. I understand you’re all just doing a job, but this just isn’t feeling really great as a customer and makes me want to get my car serviced elsewhere so that I don’t feel like an inconvenience to your business. Unfortunately dropping my rating to 4 stars. I want to put 3, but I’m not comfortable doing that.
